How do I attend?

Register for the event now and visit the virtual career event on June 10 between 1-4PM at teachingtexans.org. This is a come-and-go event and you can choose to stay for as long as you'd like. Although this is a completely virtual event, there is a limited number of participants, and registration is required to attend.

How do I prepare?

While the Brazen platform is designed for only text-based chat, some district recruiters may be interested in setting up a brief videoconference call with you either during or after the event.

We understand that virtual job fairs are likely new for everyone. Because of this, we will be offering optional preparation webinars for registered participants. These webinars will provide guidance on using the platform, how to effectively engage with schools via online text chat, and best practices for meaningful interaction with participating districts.

What if I can't attend the event?

If you registered for the event and you can't attend, please email events@holdsworthcenter.org. If you are interested in applying to a district but can’t attend, you are welcome to reach out to the districts directly.

ABOUT THE HOLDSWORTH CENTER

Founded by H-E-B Chairman Charles Butt in January 2017, The Holdsworth Center is an Austin-based nonprofit that partners with Texas public school districts to help them become experts at leadership, then turn around and develop stronger leaders within their own systems.

Each of our 13 partner districts has committed to growing strong, inspiring leaders at all levels through a five-year partnership that includes deep investments at both the district and campus levels. We think you’ll find that Holdsworth partner districts put a strong focus on creating positive learning environments where teachers and students feel motivated to learn and supported to do their best work.

To be of service, we have committed to supporting our 13 partner districts as they navigate recruiting in a virtual environment. Building a strong pipeline of future leaders starts with you
